In the traditional Japanese incense ritual, aromatic wood is never burned directly. Instead, these charcoal blocks are used to heat ash within a burner, allowing the wood to release its pure fragrance through gentle heat.
Seijudo’s "San-ni Koh-zumi" offers exceptional flexibility for this practice. Each sheet consists of 5 pre-scored blocks, and one individual block burns for approximately 10 minutes. With 30 sheets (a total of 150 blocks) per box, you have complete control over your experience:
