Suigetsu ware is legendary for its "Tenjin Crab" motifs, a style established by Tsunekata himself. This piece features a incredibly lifelike crab, sculpted in high relief with vivid red and natural earthy tones. The crab sits within a textured, unglazed band that resembles the sandy banks of a river, creating a striking contrast with the smooth, creamy white glaze of the cup.
